Our Data Strategy, Platforms Connected Vehicle team aims to design the intelligent networking of vehicle systems right through to the provision of vehicle-generated data in the backend. To do this, we develop solutions for the collection and pre-processing of data in the vehicle and its provision in the backend, thereby enabling AI use cases in the vehicle.

What awaits you?

• You are responsible for and lead the BMW-wide use case evaluation process as part of the onboarding of new AI use case ideas/concepts of the departments for the vehicle-related scopes as an AI architect.
• You will analyze AI concept ideas with regard to their technical requirements, derive the necessary adjustments to the E/E architecture and evaluate them as part of the architecture processes.
• You ensure the necessary concept maturity for implementation in the vehicle.
• For future AI applications, you derive the necessary modular requirements for the vehicle architecture.
• You coordinate, network and represent the AI ​​community in your area.
• As the central AI competence center for all development departments, you actively advise on the possible use of AI technologies.

what do you bring

• Completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, engineering with a focus on AI or a comparable qualification.
• Relevant experience in AI/use case engineering, machine learning and the associated AI toolchain.
• Experience in AI applications, preferably in the automotive environment and their efficient implementation on embedded systems as well as in E/E networking and architecture.
• Knowledge of software function development.
• Project management experience with cross-functional teams.
• Business fluent German and English skills are a prerequisite.
