We, the BMW Group, offer you an exciting and varied internship in the field of supply security and digitization.

To take our responsibilities to the next level, the Supply Assurance department is offering an internship position that contributes to the BMW Group think tank and continues BMW's leadership in supply chain management. The aim of the think tank is to research new technologies, including data science (ML, AI, BI etc.). As an intern, you are part of the BMW supply chain digitization working group, a global network of supply chain and data science experts who use and exchange digital solutions at the BMW Group.

what do you bring

• You are currently a full-time, undergraduate, or graduate student at an accredited college or university majoring in computer science, software engineering, or data science. (Master's degree preferred)
• Experience in Python for AI/analysis libraries like Scikit, TensorFlow, PyTorch, NumPy is an advantage.
• Knowledge of data engineering (Spark/SQL): understanding of various data visualization tools such as AWS QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, Foundry by Palantir etc.
• Proven experience as a data scientist, software developer, software engineer or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of programming languages ??(e.g. Python, C++, Java, JavaScript) and frameworks/systems (e.g. AngularJS, Git).
• Knowledge of data analysis, artificial intelligence and cloud architectures (e.g. AWS, Azure, Impact/Foundry).
• Ability to develop web-based solutions from complex data analysis.
• Experience with the automotive industry and agile software development is a plus but not necessary.
