Our team uses AI-based algorithms to analyze over-the-air vehicle data and monitor the health of our fleet. With the help of machine learning models, we can predict the failure of vehicle components and thus avoid failures at our customers. Our focus is on the development of new data-driven applications and innovations in the area of ​​BMW customer support.

As a member of our team, you will work with an experienced team of data scientists, product managers and subject matter experts to develop intelligent AI models for internal and customer-facing products. We share a passion for problem solving, new technologies and continuous learning. You will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the latest technologies and to develop innovative solutions and ideas.

• Explore, analyze and visualize data from vehicles with statistics and machine learning.
• Design and implement cloud-based applications.
• Working on machine learning solutions in the field of predictive maintenance of vehicles.
• Learn how to operate and develop machine learning pipelines.
• Write technical documentation and reports to communicate processes and results.
• You have the opportunity to advance your creative ideas from brainstorming to the end product.

what do you bring

• A bachelor's degree or ongoing studies in science, computer science, engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of concepts and methods, as well as practical experience in machine learning and statistical modelling.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases.
• Very good knowledge of the Python programming language and experience with common libraries in the fields of data analysis, statistics and machine learning.
• Experience working with large amounts of data with Spark/ PySpark is an advantage.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services is an advantage.
• A high motivation to expand your knowledge in the field of data science and machine learning.
• Language skills in German and English from C1 level.
