Key responsibilities / What you do

  • Identify relevant and applicable datasets and perform data collection, processing, cleaning, analysis, modeling and visualization of data from all lines of business.
  • Perform complex analytics on large data sets to provide actionable intelligence and insights on key risks and controls, e.g. identifying anomalies, trends, inconsistencies, or potential risks, including visualization. 
  • Working with the different teams in Internal Audit and actively participate in audits as part of data analysis also to identify use cases, automation of audit testing and develop techniques for recurring tests. 
  • Define data requirements and data guidelines for Internal Audit.
  • Maintaining a Data Library for targeted audit objects.
  • Support in the improvement of internal audit processes (reporting, planning, risk assessment, testing, etc.)
  • Support training and skill building of audit team members to develop/mature data analytics competencies.

Key requirements / What you bring

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis or equivalent
  • Proficient understanding and application of data analysis used in either financial services, audit, and/or risk management functions
  • University degree in data science, engineering or equivalent 
  • Team spirit, self-motivation and a proactive and committed working style 
  • The ability to analyze large volumes of data including strong knowledge of programming language (e.g. SAS, SQL, Python) and ideally visualization (e.g. Excel, IDEA, PowerBI) 
  • Excellent analytical skills and mind set
  • Ability to interact in a global work environment with people from different countries and cultures 
  • Professional level of English (written & spoken)
