Job Description

Allianz France, since 2016, has been developing capabilities in the field of Big Data and AI. This resulted in the creation of a dedicated department in 2018, bringing together employees of various profiles: Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Data Engineers, Data Product Owners, Dev Web and more recently Data Science Product Leader.

The Big Data & AI Factory team is one of the 4 teams in this direction. This team has 4 agile scrums for a total of around 40 people and its areas of responsibility include:

• Ensure the implementation of Data projects from the opportunity study (POC, POV) to the production launch and follow-up in run
• Implementation of AI projects with strong business impacts: predictive models, Computer Vision, NLP, Scoring, etc.
• Assist the company's operational processes with AI and Big Data tools (5M acts assisted by AI in 2020)
• Democratize access to Data (api & apps)
• Fraud detection, analysis of emails, images, triggers, voice bots, etc.
• The team is well established and now has such experience that it can manage a dozen projects in production while regularly delivering new ones!

Key Responsibilities

Within the Big Data & AI Factory team, under the responsibility of the Head of Data Science, you will have the role of Data Scientist (M/F).

As such, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Ensure a role of expertise on the projects and data of the team by having a transverse vision to all the scrums;
• Carry out data or Machine Learning studies to analyze new opportunities or respond to business requests by interacting directly with the business teams;
• Lay the foundations for new projects (POC, POV);
• Participate in the industrialization of projects or the improvement of existing projects;
• Ensure a technological watch to offer ever more efficient tools and methods;
• Support the skills development of other Data Scientists.

Profile / Skills

Let's talk about you:

• Coming from a higher education in a related field (engineering, statistics, mathematics) and comfortable with statistical tools
• 5+ years of experience in the field of Data Science or Big Data
• Experiences of work in agile mode
• Successful experiences in a similar field, in particular with a data project industrialization context
• Expertise with data analysis and Big Data tools, in particular:
  • Languages: Python, pyspark, SQL
  • Databases: PostgreSQL, elasticsearch
  • Code management: Git, Gitlab, CI/CD
  • Job and pipeline management: Luigi (or equivalent)
  • Logs: prometheus, graphana
• A business-oriented mindset and contribution of value for business teams;
• Rigorous to ensure a quality of deliverables and didactic to present the subjects to the professions
• Professional use of English
