As a professional in Python development (m/f/d), you enjoy dealing with new technologies and solving specific customer requirements. You will support the improvement of our global data management as well as the implementation of associated processes and interfaces/APIs.

TASKS

• Development and implementation of scalable pipelines for large or complex data series using common Python modules/packages
• Develop powerful APIs
• Data modeling and enrichment and transformation using statistical methods and/or ML
• Continuous development and support of processes in a heterogeneous system landscape
• Participation in the renewal of the technology stack with cloud-based services
• Supporting the specialist department, including in the implementation of comprehensive functional expansions
• Depending on your experience, sub-project management or project management with planning, coordination and implementation, including requirements analysis (and customer communication) is also possible

REQUIREMENTS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

• Successfully completed technical or university studies in (business) computer science, mathematics or economics with an IT orientation and/or comparable professional experience
• Very good Python knowledge, optionally including machine learning
• Experience with cloud solutions and data lakes
• Knowledge of SQL (Oracle desirable)
• Interested in topics related to the finance/insurance industry
• Analytical and conceptual skills, coordination and organizational skills
• High level of analytical thinking, motivation, reliability, personal responsibility and independence
• Team spirit and strong communication skills
• Customer and service-oriented, confident demeanor in an international environment
• Very good knowledge of German and English
