Job Description
What you need to know about the role:
Join our team as we integrate machine learning models into PayPal's Global Crimes and Compliance program. Your expertise will be key in advancing our mission and enhancing our automation efforts. Collaborate with data science & tech teams, design strategies, prepare documentation, assist in data validation, and create monitoring tools.

Your day-to-day role includes:
Assessment: Assess automation opportunities by working closely with operations teams.
Collaboration: Build collaborative partnerships between core teams and stakeholders to accomplish goals.
Change Management: Identify areas of improvement and plan, design, and implement automation strategies.
Analyze: Research and analyze large data sets to identify patterns and risks and generate reports with critical information and proposed solutions.
What do you need to bring:
Business Acumen: Ability to effectively elaborate your vision to multiple stakeholders.
Culture: Communication, trust, and patience to lead data-driven solutions which address complex business problems across cross-functional teams.
Communication: Ability to translate complex cases into relevant business stories and proposed solutions.
Education: BS in Data Analysis OR; 3+ years of professional experience; Knowledge of Python, SQL, Oracle, Jupyter, and/or MS SOL required; Experience in compliance (AML, Sanctions, Due Diligence, Risk, and/or CIP/KYC) or Case Management is a plus.
