Job Description:
As a Risk Strategy & Analysis Intern at PayPal, using your analytical skills, you will support the team as we tackle major company challenges. You will act as a business consultant to drive recommendations and implement solutions that ultimately impact the bottom line. And you will do it all by collaborating with a global team of colleagues across operations, product, engineering in an environment that values your insight, encourages you to take on new responsibility, promotes continuous learning, and rewards innovation.
This is a 6-Month internship opportunity at PayPal.
As an Intern, you will,
- Build expertise in PayPal data sources to find, manage and simplify complex data
- Integrate data and product knowledge to build stories and convey actionable insights
- Set up measurement frameworks like Pre-Post, A/B tests to assess project impact
- Be a subject expert for Protections policies, and Resolutions process
- Work with partner teams such as Operations and Engineering for project implementation
The advantage of an End-to-End team is that you drive the analytics behind the problem, but also the solution implementation. Visibility and expertise in this process will help you grow into either a Data Scientist or a Product Manager roles
The Ideal Candidate Is
- Passionate about generating insights from data to solve business problems
- Knowledge of any data and visualisation tools like SAS, Python, QlikView, Tableau
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Basic Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering or quantitative field (Business, Maths, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science)
- Good to have experience or willingness to learn data extraction, analysis, and visualization tools such as SQL, R, Python, Tableau
