We are looking for a highly motivated and technically proficient Business Analyst with a keen Business acumen to join our Business Analytics team. The Business Analyst position will be a multi-faceted and hands-on analytics role aimed at sharpening Xoom’s business intelligence and customer experience knowledge. You will work closely with the finance, marketing, Customer Ops, and product teams as well as senior management to provide financial statements, reports, dashboards, and consumer intelligence to generate business insight, and to provide support in business decisions. You will extract, analyze, and compile many data sources to gain this knowledge. You will also be responsible for leading a team of Business Analysts to deliver projects and insights on time.

Qualifications:

• 5 + years of professional experience?in a Business Intelligence or Data Analysis role that include building data interpretation and statistical models
• Strong experience with SQL and statistical computing languages like R and/or Python
• Strong knowledge of data manipulation/presentation end-tools. At a minimum, strong Microsoft Excel skills. Tableau or similar is preferred and strongly desired.
• Ability to use Data tools to effectively interpret data and simplify for communication with Senior Leadership?
• Proven ability to work effectively with a variety of disciplines ranging from Marketing, Finance, and Product to Engineer teams
• Proven ability to communicate with and impact decision making in upper Management
• Team player who inspires trust, contributes to team success and leads by example to go the extra mile
• Organized, independent, and proactive, with a balanced temperament to be able to switch rapidly between different projects
• Ability to build relationships and trust across Analytics user community
• Strong business acumen and ability to identify and communicate trends and insights
• An understanding of online commerce vocabulary, best practices, and business processes
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership skills.?

Education:

• BS/MS in Business, Economics, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or equivalent experience
