We are DECO (developer Ecosystem) org. We work towards making our developers and merchants interactions, integrations with PayPal products and services frictionless and a pleasant experience. As part of that, we focus on innovative tools, Developer centric portal, Developer Docs, API Refs, dashboards and Sandbox Engineering. It’s a new role for helping build nextgen tooling for Sandbox.

The work involves using AI and ML technologies to solve problems, developing tooling and products from ground up. As part of that, we focus on innovative tools, Developer centric portal, Developer Docs, API Refs, dashboards and Sandbox Engineering. It’s a new role for helping build nextgen tooling for Sandbox.
Your day to day
In your day to day role you will –
- Proficiency in back-end technologies like Golang or Python.
- Designing and developing AI systems : Designing and developing AI systems, including prompt engineering, natural language processing systems, and computer vision systems. This will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to determine technical specifications, assessing data availability and quality, and selecting appropriate modeling techniques.
- Designing and developing software applications, tools, and platforms that support AI systems. Testing, validating, maintaining and improving AI models.
- Working experience with microservice architecture, relational and NOSQL databases, REST APIs, and public Cloud computing.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code along with unit and integration test code with automation, be able to deploy the code in VM/Docker/containerization environment.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure system integration and efficiency.
What do you need to bring-
- Experience/knowledge with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), github (or other version controls), Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of AI concept with prompt engineering and model training.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking: Engineers should be able to solve problems and think critically about the design and functionality of software applications. They should be able to break down complex problems into smaller parts and find solutions to them.
- Collaboration and communication: Engineers must be able to work collaboratively with other team members, including tech leads, product managers, and other developers. They should be able to communicate effectively with their team members to ensure that the software application is designed and built according to specifications and requirements. Good communication skills also help Full Stack Engineers to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant work experience-
- 5+ years of experience in Software Development.
