Job Description

In the HPC, AI and Hewlett Packard Labs Business Unit, we focus on cutting edge, high-performance, high-scale customer solutions serving a wide range of industries and end-users. Our organization includes High Performance Computing (HPC), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Labs.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HPC District Service Manager (DSM) in Northern Europe.

The objective of the DSM of Northern Europe is to ensure a high customer satisfaction across the HPC Services in Northern Europe.

In a typical day as an HPC District Service Manager you would:

• Establish regular relationship with customers and ensure good customer satisfaction by monitoring the service delivery quality and managing internally & externally any escalation which may arise
• Manage a team of Senior HPC technical consultants, both HPE residents at customer sites or subcontractors. This includes:
• Directing and monitoring operational activities of the team
• Supporting development of direct staff members and recruiting if necessary
• Work closely with sales, pre-sales on any new opportunities in the region
• Work closely with the local contacts for services: HPE Services, Supply chain, etc.

If you are:

• Educated in a technical First Level University degree
• Knowledgeable of High Performance Computing domain
• Knowledgeable in Services Delivery
• Experienced in people & project management, even when working in a remote environment
• Experienced in client relationship management
• Excellent in written & verbal communication
• Fluent in English – Finnish language will be considered a plus

Please note that this role will require traveling (around 20%-30% of the time) within Finland and to other Scandinavian countries.
