The role defines high-impact, long-term Logistics master data strategies at the global, regional and operational level. Supports cross-functional, cross-regional teams to implement end-to-end supply chain capabilities, Logistics network changes and MDM strategies. Identifies, recommends, and implements opportunities for improvement across the supply chain. Partners with management and the extended organization to identify operational inefficiencies and new business opportunities. Develops recommendations based on benchmarking, financial results and statistical data. Communicates strategic direction to the organization.

Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage/maintain all Logistics master data (SAP, SCOUT, One Network, and other system solutions) to support Logistics processes for all Business Units and Routes To Market organizations across the HPE, including participation in Business unit or cross organizational projects
  • Independently identifies solutions to common and complex issues within a project, by applying strong understanding of supply chain.
  • Interprets data to identify major conclusions and formulate summaries.
  • Acts as a peer leader on a cross functional project team.
  • Owns decision-making within projects and contributes to strategic supply chain solutions to managers.
  • Acts as a resource to other business units for issues on supply chain.

Education and Experience Required:

  • First level university degree or equivalent experience; may have advanced university degree.
  • Typically 4-6 years of experience in a supply chain function.
  • Experience working with SAP S4HANA.
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and high-level modeling tools.
  • Very strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills; mastery in English and local language.
  • Very strong analytical skills.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated team and project management skills.
  • Developed business acumen, including understanding of the company's overall business model.
