The Position:

The director of Enterprise Data Analytics Management is a senior executive who bears responsibility to manage and evolve the analytics architecture and technical implementation to allow for stability, scalability, reliability, and performance. The associated tasks include:

  • Implementing and managing scalable enterprise data and technology solutions architecture in support of Enterprise Data Analytics to serve as a single source of truth for all critical business data from across internal and external data sources and applications.
  • The Enterprise Data Analytics Management Director serves as a technology leader to own and manage the enterprise analytics capabilities, ensuring that the capability is built and operated optimally with robust technology tools and processes, efficiently managing the total cost of ownership of the product.
  • Partner with CDO and Senior Technical Leadership team in evolving the Enterprise Data Strategy.
  • Operationalizing Data Product strategy with CDO and Business Stakeholders, that will focus on driving data first solutions and enabling HPE on HPE architecture where applicable.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy for the organization and AI platform, aligning technology initiatives with business goals and emerging trends.
  • Provide visionary leadership to a multidisciplinary team of data engineers and platform engineers in designing and maintaining a robust technical solution.
  • Develop and manage budgets for the analytics platform, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effectiveness.

Enterprise Analytics Design, Architecture and Solution:

  • Partner with the application and technical stakeholders in creating and designing robust data solutions that will drive the business forward.
  • Lead the design and architecture of the analytics solution, selecting the appropriate tools and technologies to support advanced analytics and AI model development.
  • Create frameworks for scalable data pipelines, storage solutions, and integration points to facilitate seamless data flow. Enable HPE on HPE architecture wherever applicable.
  • Oversee the development, deployment, and monitoring of analytics capabilities.
  • Evaluate and select relevant analytics and AI tools, libraries, and platforms to enhance the capabilities of the platform.
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors and stay informed about industry trends.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of the analytics and AI platform, identifying opportunities for efficiency and optimization improvements.

Cross Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with technology architects, product managers, and technology teams to understand analytics and AI requirements and deliver impactful technical and platform solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (15+ years) in analytics, AI, data engineering, or related roles, with a track record of driving successful analytics platform management.
  • Strong leadership skills, including experience managing diverse teams and fostering collaboration.
  • In-depth knowledge of advanced analytics techniques, end to end technical stack for analytical solutions, machine learning algorithms, and AI model development.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., HPE Greenlake, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for data analytics.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, and familiarity with relevant analytics and AI libraries and frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities with a passion for leveraging data to drive business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. Annual Salary: $149,000.00 - $361,500.00
