A career as an Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Graduate allows you the opportunity to develop and program integrated software algorithms to structure, analyze and leverage structured and unstructured data in product and systems applications. You will work with large scale computing frameworks, data analysis systems, and modeling environments.

What you will do:

As an AI/Machine Learning Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of HPE by translating customer requirements and industry trends into AI/ML products, solutions, and systems improvement projects. Our internships provide you with an opportunity to gain real world experience and make an immediate impact at HPE. You’ll be assigned meaningful projects, gain exposure to leaders, and connect with other interns. Key aspects of our internship program include learning and professional development, social and networking events, and volunteer opportunities. 

You will utilize hypothesis and inference testing to conduct research and produce a solution with a fast turnaround time. You will research and creatively apply new machine learning/artificial intelligence methods to fulfill business use case objectives. You will work with deep learning frameworks and models, GPU acceleration, model optimization, real-time streaming data, distributed computing, and deployment. 

You will provide thought leadership and technical influence both internally and externally and take innovative ideas and make them real, contributing along the full range from initial novel ideas to design, development, implementation, evaluation, and technology transfer. You will utilize your coding experience with Python, R, Java, or similar functional programming language and apply it to data exploration, transformation, and modeling.

About you:

• You are currently enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s/Master’s program pursuing a degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, data science, or related field.

Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. Hourly: $27.25 - $33.00
