What you’ll do:

Job Family Definition:

  • Researches, designs, develops, configures, integrates, tests and maintains existing and new business applications and/or information systems solutions including databases through integration of technical and business requirements.
  • Applications and infrastructure solutions include both 3rd party software and internally developed applications and infrastructure.
  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis of business requirements, coding of modifications or new program, creation of documentation, testing and maintenance of applications, infrastructure, and information systems including database management systems.
  • Works within the Information Technology function, obtaining resources and working in support of objectives and strategies. Provides required documentation and participates in architecture reviews to ensure that the solutions comply with standards and use approved technologies.
  • Typical customers are company end users and various functional areas such as Supply Chain, Research and Development, Marketing, Finance, a business, or the company.

Management Level Definition:

Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist team members with delivery of Anaplan solution implementations
  • Assistance with preparation and upkeep of project management deliverables for Project Manager / SR Analyst
  • Assistance with preparation and upkeep of discovery & design deliverables for Solution Architect / Lead Model Builder
  • Ability to translate user stories into configured Anaplan solutions under guidance of Solution Architect / Lead Model Builders
  • Development of standards-adherent, performant models; proactive outreach to superiors on expectations & solution quality
  • Collaboration with client team members to clarify translation of user stories into configured solution
  • Perform and document unit testing to identify solution issues & bugs
  • Prepare and assist client in execution of User Acceptance Testing scripts
  • Prepare and deliver End-User Adoption training materials & sessions
  • Prepare and deliver Solution Upkeep training materials & sessions
  • Identification, contribution, and execution of initiatives to make it easier for those who come after you
  • Active participation in company events & culture activities

What you need to bring:

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • 7 - 10 years experience building complex Anaplan models
  • Minimum Anaplan L2 Model Builder Certified
  • Experience in SQL Server DB
  • Hands on experience in Programming Language (Python preferred)
  • Experience implementing best practice for user experience
  • Strong understanding of data integrations challenges and solutions, such as ETL from various platforms
  • Experience in automation using Anaplan connect and Anaplan API’s are required
  • Demonstrate passion to learn and adhere to data best practices
  • Able to translate technical data capabilities to an operational and financial audience
  • Expert understanding of accounting principals
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize
  • Experience with enterprise performance management, digital transformation, enabling big data / cloud based analytics strategies

Prefer to have:

  • Level 3 certification Anaplan
  • CAP Planner Experience
