What you’ll do:

The Data Governance Developer (Collibra) role at HPE will implement various Data Governance (DG) use cases pan HPE that focus on source system integrations for cataloging, setting up lineage harvestor, implementing DQ rules and build governance workflows to manage policies. The role will need proficiency across different stages of the SDLC including architecture, design and development. This role is within HPE's Enterprise Data Office (DO) that is focused on data maturity while helping accelerate the data to insight journey for the company.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • At least 3 years of experience and functional capability and familiarity with leading Data Governance tools, like Collibra
  • Experience in creating Metamodel, business glossaries, data dictionaries, Data catalog etc.
  • Programming skills in Java/Groovy/Python and be able to develop complex workflows
  • Experience in performing Rest API based integrations
  • Experience with microservices architecture
  • Proficient to expert level experience in SQL
  • Experience of multiple full release cycles.
  • Advanced understanding of modern software development methodologies.
  • Advanced understanding of modern software development tools and SCM.
  • General Project Management. Customer Management. Business Analysis.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; influencing skills and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team. Demonstrated technical leadership skills.
  • Experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence will be helpful
  • Knowledge of Big Data stack including Vertica, Hadoop, Snowflake is a plus

  • Typically a technical Bachelor's degree & equivalent experience of 7 - 10 Years
