On the GLCP team you will build innovative cloud platform capabilities that enables the delivery of rich HW and SW aaS solutions to customers.

What you will do:

As part of the Common Cloud Platform team, we focus on developing tooling and automation workflows to help different BUs within HPE to build their infrastructure platform on the cloud of their choice. We help these teams with the process, and we have observability, logging, monitoring, cost management and security baked into the platform.

You will build Automation to manage the lifecycle of the infrastructure platform components across multiple cloud providers. We support multiple backend infrastructure components which includes both self-managed and cloud managed solutions, including technologies such as Kubernetes/EKS, PostgreSQL/Aurora PostgreSQL, Cassandra/Keyspace, Elasticsearch, Redis, Kafka/MSK, and RabbitMQ.

You will develop modules to support end to end lifecycle management of these infrastructure components, such as cluster setup, stop/start, expansion, monitoring, logging and backup.

What you will need to bring with you:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of software development experience
• Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and algorithms
• Experience designing and implementing IAC (Terraform) in the cloud.
• Experience configuration management tools like Ansible/Chef.
• Experience managing Kubernetes Components.
• Basic Understanding of distributed database/queuing/caching systems.
• Familiarity with version control (e.g. GitHub, Bitbucket)

What is preferred to bring with you:

• Experience with development on a cloud platform; i.e. AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with any of the backend infra components like Kubernetes/EKS, Postgres, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Redis, Kafka/MSK, RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Go
