Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently establishes HPE's logistics and sustainability goals for FY2024, and onward in support of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, which includes developing decarbonization and electrification strategies across fleet.
  • Define and maintain HPE logistics zero-carbon roadmap based on strategic collaboration across HPE's Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) and industry technological innovations.
  • Partner with LSPs on environmental, social initiatives which are mutually beneficial.
  • Collect, model and analyze transportation and warehousing carbon emissions data received from logistics service providers.
  • Manage logistics service performance via Social Environmental Responsibility (SER) scorecard process.
  • Drive activities in support of the annual HPE Logistics Sustainability Partner of the Year Award.
  • Work with internal Business Units on specific sustainability requirements and programs.
  • Actively participate in industry partnerships, such as US EPA SmartWay, Global Logistics Emissions Council (GLEC) and Sustainable Air Freight Alliance (SAFA).
  • Promote corporate sustainability efforts with greater HPE logistics community.
  • Focal point for transportation handling and compliance related to Dangerous Goods.
  • Work with third-party to stay abreast of government/legislative Dangerous Goods requirements.
  • Ensure required Dangerous Goods training certifications for affected logistics team members.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, sustainability, environmental sciences. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 6-10 years of experience within zero-carbon strategy, environmental reporting, and supply chain function.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Comfortable with actively presenting or participating in executive management meetings and engaging with leaders across industry to represent HPE.
  • Able to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and adaptability, working across time zones.
  • Strong problem-solving skills that can anticipate customer, organizational needs and creatively collaborate with stakeholders to overcome obstacles and gets it done.
  • Exceptional written, verbal communication and influencing skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Environmental Reporting Requirements, software's and databases used to support corporate sustainability and environmental reporting.
  • Comfortable with actively presenting or participating in executive management meetings.
  • Excellent team and project management skills, including project structuring.
  • Strong business acumen and technical knowledge across multiple business units, with an understanding of emerging trends.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. Annual Salary: $86,000.00 - $198,000.00
