Job Description

AI-at-Scale is a fast-growing business (organically and inorganically) within the HPC & AI global business unit with recent acquisitions of Determined AI and Pachyderm. We are seeking a technical product manager to join the AI Product Management team to build, own and deliver the end-to-end customer experience for products across Machine Learning (ML) Model Development and Deployment workflows.

Job Background 

As a technical product manager focused on our deep learning products, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our machine learning platform. You will work with customers, open-source users, and internal experts to define our product direction and roadmap. You will collaborate with product designers and engineers to build intuitive, elegant, and functional customer experiences, and will work cross-functionally to deliver those experiences. 

What You’ll Do 

• Define and Evaluate

• Define and segment your target market and user personas. 

• Perform market research, and work with internal Machine Learning (ML) experts to identify challenges and opportunities 

• Customer Experience 

• Understand your users and build a compelling customer experience. 
• Be the voice of your customer to engineering, services, and UX teams.

• Develop mockups and prototypes for user testing, write up product feature specifications for execution (PRD) 

• Value Proposition

• Define, test, and iterate on your product’s value proposition. 
• Collaborate with marketing to communicate the value proposition and drive adoption. 

• Roadmap 

• Own product roadmap and manage the backlog through constant prioritization. 
• Be the ‘quarterback’ of a cross-functional core team that brings your product to life (from concept to launch) 
• Build business cases to enable additional investments for your product area. 

• Go To Market

• Pricing strategy – Define and own the pricing strategy. Iterate pricing based on market feedback. 
• Marketing – Collaborate with marketing to build and execute your launch plan. 
• Sales enablement - Define target sellers, and guide enablement plan.

What We’re Looking for 

• 5+ years of work experience in technical product management, or similar experience at a technology company 

• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to translate those skills into creative solutions 

• Ownership mindset 

• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority, and build consensus 

• Excellent communication and presentation skills 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field (or equivalent experience) 

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

• Knowledge of MLOps and LLMOps ecosystem and Machine Learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch 

• Product management experience for enterprise ML products 

• Experience with open-source and SaaS business models 

• Management or Technology Consulting experience 

• M.B.A. or Graduate Degree in relevant field

Annual Salary: $113,000.00 - $259,500.00
