Job Description

  • Drive the development of a residue data asset including the development and continuous engagement of a global community
  • Be responsible for data products with a focus on provisioning residue data across all sources globally including data modelling, data engineering, advanced data analysis and data visualization tasks
  • Drive the first level support and user training of all aspects of the residue data repository to ensure maximum adoption across the organization
  • Bridge the gap between the scientific and product development community for all relevant data products
  • Act as responsible product owner (m/f/d) with oversight of the agile implementation of new capabilities & data products

WHO YOU ARE

  • Master’s degree in quantitative science, data science or natural science with a strong computational component and first professional experience, alternatively bachelor’s degree with long-term professional experience
  • Sound programming and technical skills in the area data engineering (e.g. ETL/ELT, data modelling), pipeline-driven data analysis (e.g. using R or Python) and data visualization (Shiny, Spotfire, Tableau) or a strong and demonstrated will to learn
  • Passion to seek out meaningful experiments with data and learn from their outcomes
  • Capability to understand and formalize requirements for new digital products
  • Ability to work in an agile environment with a good sense of how to prioritize
  • Pro-active problem solver (m/f/d) with the ability to question the status quo
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders in a global, cross-cultural organization
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
