YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Digital Lead, Radiology Digital Solutions Business, are to:

• Provide Digital/Information Technology (IT) strategic advice and efforts for the Radiology Digital Solutions Business across Business Strategy, Data Science, and external partnerships;
• Evangelize digital change and support the digital agenda e.g. digital transformation;
• Co-shape the Radiology Commercial strategy and ensure IT innovation along commercial priorities;
• Co-Own Radiology functions IT strategies, including relevant functional elements;
• Coordinate IT and the Global Radiology strategies to achieve common goals, and aligns the Radiology Ambitions and with corporate IT guidance and directives;
• Identify value potential through new and innovative digital business models;
• Translate new and changed business models into technology solutions;
• Scout the Industry for transformative trends and consult on their value for our business and patients;
• Drive collaboration with external organizations to bring in innovative thinking and emerging technologies concepts;
• Collaborate with Platforms, Global Data Assets and Decision Science to continuously drive business value;
• Work with platforms to convert the Radiology strategies into product-specific roadmaps and detailed delivery plans based on the Radiology priorities and resource availability;
• Drive collaboration on IT topics with other divisions.
• The preferred location for this role is Indianola, PA, but residence-based candidates in the US will also be considered.

Required Qualifications:

• University degree in Business, Information Science or equivalent; 
• Must have one of the following:
• At least 5-7 years of leadership experience in roles of increasing scope and responsibility in the technology space, directly interacting with business executives and customers, OR
• At least 5-7 years of experience directing or performing implementation of customer facing digital innovation and/or transformation with knowledge in Marketing and Sales subjects;
• Experience partnering with and/or working within technology and/or software start-ups; 
• Proven leadership, motivational and interpersonal skills to influence in a highly complex business environment; translating strategy to tangible business value and measurable outcomes;
• Experience with global leadership roles in large multi-national corporation(s) with strong communication skills, analytical, structural and strategic skills;
• Superior understanding of change management, with an ability to analyze and drive change across a wide range of stakeholders and in a dynamic environment;
• Excellent intercultural understanding and experience;
• Proven track record of working with external vendors;
• Strong financial acumen, with ability to propose business recommendations for >$2Mio investments and decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in customer facing digital innovation/technology roles within the Medical Device, Healthcare Technology, and/or Pharmaceutical industry (or other similarly regulated industry).
