YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Manager Omni-Channel Analytics eCommerce, are to:

  • Operationalize AI-ML and Query-based BI Omnichannel Roadmap to support step changes in Modernized Sales and deliver the path to +$10 Million in incremental sales through, (1) Query-based BI on integrated sales datasets and (2) Retail Anomaly Detection and Opportunity Finder;
  • Own the implementation of ThoughtSpot and other advanced BI tools for Omni-Channel Analytics in eCom accounts;
  • Evolve Omni-Channel Analytics by integrating GTN/Trade Effectiveness and NRM opportunities in a way that creates long-term sustainable competitive advantage;
  • Partner with Global NRM team to utilize NRM tools and influence direction;
  • Collaborate with NRM Senior Managers to help deliver analytics and insights to drive U.S. enterprise NRM initiatives;
  • Conceive and test hypotheses through A/B testing to surface empirical insights;
  • Leverage existing (Numerator, Linkfluence) and new digital shopper insights tools to drive a deeper understanding of shopper behaviors and motivations;
  • Leverage information and resources to provide value-added learning on trade promotions, pricing, distribution, and digital shelving to key trade accounts, specifically for Joint Business Planning;
  • Leverage digital signals to develop war-games, model outcomes powered by AI/ML to predict and monitor BCH omni-channel business performance;
  • Manage research quality ensuring that proposed research is conceptually sound and aligned with key objectives;
  • Be the liaison with aI’s Human Truths team on our agile research toolkit;
  • Act as a strategic partner to the Senior Manager, Omni-Channel Analytics, Amazon and eCommerce teams ensuring high-quality analytical expertise and delivery;
  • Develop rigor in the application of methodologies and standards on best practices and establishment of sales-related data governance;
  • Be a data steward for eCom-specific data assets, and own data monetization;
  • Utilize data in new and unique ways, penetrating beneath the numbers to bring strategic focus, raise questions and best position, grow and develop CH products/businesses;

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of experience working with sales business intelligence, shopper research, and syndicated data, with two years focused against Amazon or a retailer.com business;
  • Exceptional project management and stakeholder engagement skills;
  • Build effective teams, cultivate innovation, learning and change agility, customer focus, action oriented/drive results, collaborate globally and locally, plan and align, drive stakeholder engagement, effectively manage suppliers;
  • Excellent financial management skills to critically assess strategic goals and cost investments versus results;
  • Ability to streamline operational processes;
  • Experience in promotion effectiveness and continual improvement on Return of Investment (ROIs);
  • Understand the customer and the marketplace;
  • Exceptional knowledge of eComm and B&M landscape and how to impact the total market;
  • Understand the impact of individual decisions to Bayer’s total business and relevant long-term implications;
  • Experience with Amazon and/or retailer.coms;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Able to deliver clear and concise presentations, actionable direction and work well within a matrixed team environment;
  • Proven success with one-on-one customer negotiations;
  • Proven ability to develop win-win solutions to complex situations;
  • Superior problem solving and critical thinking skills demonstrated through multi-task problem solving and practical judgment;
  • Robust analytical capabilities across a variety of data sources and platforms with ability to execute sales planning activities;
  • Advanced computer literacy skills, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Query based platforms and BI tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree/Ph.D. in Data Science;
  • Experience with Big Data in an omni-channel setting;
  • Sales strategy/operations experience.

Colorado Jobs: employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately $165,516 (or between $132,400 to $215,200). Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
