The Director of Marketing – XOFIGO is an exciting opportunity for a high-energy individual interested in driving strategic marketing initiatives for a key Bayer growth brand in oncology. The Director of Marketing will contribute to the management of the brand in the US through the planning, development, and implementation of strategic and tactical plans to achieve target sales and profit for XOFIGO.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Director Marketing Xofigo, are to:

  • Grow Xofigo in mCRPC by:
  • Shaping the overall Xofigo multichannel marketing strategy across Group Purchasing Organization (GPOs), Health Care Provider (HCPs), patients, and digital/non-personal;
  • Leading media/digital planning and strategy efforts;
  • Developing and executing digital and non-personal tactics;
  • Enhancing and evolving branded and non-branded websites consistent with brand strategy;
  • Leading the evolution and expansion of machine learning to drive brand growth;
  • Leveraging machine learning to enhance sales rep alerts and nonpersonal promotion while ensuring robust analytics are in place to measure results;
  • Leading key initiatives to drive growth with GPO partner(s);
  • Rapidly integrating customer insights and New Ways of Working into Xofigo planning and execution to drive growth;
  • Collaborating closely with and providing leadership to Data Science and Advanced Analytics and Business Insights teams to ensure robust analytics and research plans are in place/executed;
  • Partnering closely with Patient Marketing team in development and execution of focused patient strategy to drive growth;
  • Leading partnerships with key agencies;
  • Collaborating on joint commercial strategies with cross-functional partners, including Digital/Media Center of Excellence, Sales/other field based teams, Medical, Market Access, etc.;
  • Participating in Legal Medical Regulatory (LMR) reviews of critical materials;
  • Providing an environment that fosters learning, open communication, teamwork and fun to maintain and expand our high-performing team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • At least 10 years of Pharmaceutical industry or equivalent experience, with at least 3 years in marketing;
  • Drive for results and ability to lead and deliver through others;
  • Proven ability to use analytical skills and critical thinking to diagnose business issues and incorporate into development or adjustment of marketing plans to achieve business results in a self-directed manner;
  • Proven ability to leverage interpersonal skills to lead highly matrixed teams and deliver results in a highly matrixed organization;
  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment and make decisions in ambiguous/uncertain situations;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Passion for patients and self-motivation;
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • M.B.A. or other advanced degree;
  • Experience in Oncology and/or Urology;
  • Digital marketing experience;
  • Pharmaceutical sales experience.
