Job Description

The Data Solutions & Platforms team is responsible for developing data & analytics solutions for business groups across the enterprise. We are a collaborative engineering team who enjoy delivering innovative solutions to complex business challenges. Examples of platforms and services we are responsible for include: data integration hub, data warehouses, BI tools, data science tools, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and other automation tools.

This Sr Business Architect role will have the following responsibilities:

• Develop functional and technical specifications vital to allow development teams to implement a solution that satisfies the business requirements
• Test strategy definition and development, coordinate test script development, and review of quality assurance test results
• Work closely with business partners to detail business use cases, requirements, and desired outcomes
• Build project authorization deliverables including business case development, solution design, and financial pro forma

Needed Skills & Experiences

• 3+ years experience working with data systems, data warehouse technologies (ex. Snowflake, HANA), data integration, & ETL technologies
• Experience with data analytics and BI reporting tools (ex. Tableau, PowerBI)
• Experience with ERP systems and other large enterprise business applications like Workday, SAP, etc.
• Experience with cloud development and cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Passion for technology and curiosity to investigate the businesses and requirements of our business partners across the company
• Self-starter who can optimally navigate a sophisticated organizational structure, achieving results through influence and teamwork
• Ability to establish and manage effective working relationships with other organizational partners
• Good communication, collaboration, and partnership skills
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related; or equivalent work experience

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Prior experience working with corporate business domains (e.g., Finance, HR)
• Prior experience or exposure to RPA tools

The hiring range for this position in California is $123,902 to $166,210 per year and in Washington State is $129,806 to $174,130 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
