Major responsibilities:

- Ensure that scientific teams across biomedical research, development and commercial are enabled and supported to achieve their goals

- Contributes to the acceleration of data science through activities such as the development of reusable pipelines for the data preparation and analyses

- Applies their expertise in machine learning, deep learning, data visualization and structured/unstructured data analytics towards the scientific goals of their team.

- Train, support and / or address technical challenges related to the data42 high performance computing environment

Role Requirements

Minimum requirements:

What you'll bring to the role:

 At least 2 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical sector

  • Experience in biostatistical methods relevant in the pharmaceutical setting (e.g. survival analysis, mixed models, mediation analysis, Bayesian inference, and propensity scores)
  • Strong experience with R for data analysis and statistical modelling,
  • Experience in building image pre-processing pipelines (i.e. integrating data from different sources, feature extractions, embeddings i.e.based on PySpark)
  • Experience in using machine learning models to predict clinical endpoints using multimodal data
  • Experience with Python for data analysis (pandas, numpy etc)
  • Reproducible data science (e.g git/versioning)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of CDISC data standard (SDTM, ADaM)
  • Experience with pooling of clinical trial data
