The Associate Director, Data Science, Advanced Analytics and Resource Allocation will be responsible for bringing data driven marketing mix models and innovative resource allocation solutions to commercial and business teams thru data science. This role brings expertise in groundbreaking analytic and data science methodologies partnered with the ability to apply these new approaches to current or upcoming business challenges across the US Pharma portfolio in a scalable way. The Associate Director, Data Science is aligned to the Commercial Acceleration (CA) organization.
The Associate Director, Data Science will define and execute strategy that supports the use of data science models and techniques to tackle challenging business scenarios. This role will be responsible for the following aspects of the CA organization:

What will you be responsible for?
- Lead development, implementation, coordination, and communication of Marketing Mix Models for recommending optimal resource based on channel, cadence and content. Work closely with Brand and Digital Marketing teams to coordinate rules requirements that are layered on top of the recommendations from the models.
- Assist in the design and creation of A/B Testing for campaigns and content journeys: Work with Digital Marketing team, Brand Analysts, and external vendors in setting up specific campaigns, KPI metrics and Dashboards. Also identify data needs, and set up back-end models to understand the impact of channels and content. Actively build commercial context and alignment on assumptions into advanced analytics work streams
- Industrialize successful data science solution across other franchises
- Act as a data science SME to Brand Analysts in structuring and conducting analyses to answer the most pressing questions across franchises
- In addition to conducting data science and enterprise analytics, the individual in this role will collaborate closely with other data science teams to conduct modeling and piloting for various brands.

Minimum Requirements
What you will bring to this role?
- 7+ years of experience working as a data scientist/design expert
- Experience with advanced data modeling and business intelligence techniques; pharmaceutical industry data preferred
- Extensive experience designing and managing data strategy and research methodologies
- Strong understanding of programming, evaluate, and commercialize, advanced machine learning, including NLP, Neural Networks, and a wide variety of classification and predictive algorithms
- Demonstrated thought leadership in ambiguous business challenges and ability to explain complex ideas to different audiences ranging from executive to the most technical programmer
- Functional knowledge of full stack development, pharma market research, and human-centered designing
- Experience working in digital and emerging technologies, preferably in life sciences
- Demonstrated experience analyzing complex situations and processes and effectively integrating and synthesizing the data to form a complete cohesive picture
- Proven self-starter with high standards of excellence and an innovative mind
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize information to develop recommendations, and ability to persuade / influence organization pursuit of recommended path
- Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines
- Change management and project management experience
