Job Description

Driven by a passion to help our leaders, managers, and employees around the world “do what’s right”, the Data Science Manager will drive and support the application of behavioral data science to enrich Sandoz’ approach to Ethics, Risk and Compliance.

Under the direction of the Head of Behavioral Science & Data Science, this position will be responsible for delivering behavioral insights, building and scaling the behavioral data science perspective to data solutions, and ensure best use of data processes for our data analytics across a series of Ethics, Risk and Compliance topics to ultimately empower leaders and associates to do what’s right for patients, society, and Sandoz.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Drive our Behavioral Data Science capability development such as project management and stakeholder alignment;
• Support the Head of Behavioral Science & Data Science and team to embed behavioral data science, statistical and experimental methods into how Sandoz drives ethics, manages risks, and ensures compliance to policies;
• Manage data projects such as dashboard creation, ensure on-time delivery, and high-quality products in an international environment;
• Establish metrics, build dashboards, track trends, and provide insights into the performance of compliance operations and high-risk areas;
• Establish a deep understanding of the multi-year data products strategy, create and maintain a highly specific product roadmap, and lead the execution;
• Enable our stakeholders to see beyond the data and measure the impact of human behavior with advanced data visualizations, KPIs, and analytics solutions;
• Collaborate with IT partners to build databases containing behavioral data, provide the infrastructure for analytical solutions such as dashboards and tools with a focus on promoting automation and scaling;
• Create the behavioral data science strategy for Sandoz, connect stakeholders to our vision for a behaviorally informed organization;
• Work with cross-divisional partners, including technology, operations and business personnel through all aspects of strategic builds of critical ERC analytics program elements as an input to strategic decisions.

Minimum Requirements

• A Master’s degree suitable for data science such as statistics, decision science, psychology, economics, behavioral sciences, or similar
• Min 3 years of work exprience in a similar role, in a large company or consultancy OR 2+ year of data science in the pharma industry
• Experience in communication with various stakeholders such as senior leadership or IT partners
• Experience with building data visualizations, project management experience, stakeholder management experience
• Experience with experimentation, advanced statistical analyses, and insights presentations to senior leadership
• Intercultural work experience
• Fluency in English
