Description:

Data Science and Artificial Intelligence is an interdisciplinary course that teaches skills in the areas of computer science, data analysis and artificial intelligence, project management and mathematics and contains modules such as machine learning, cloud computing and big data.

In addition, the course includes various aspects of business administration with a main focus on the application of technologies in business processes, such as the optimization of supply chains.

In addition, from the 4th semester you can choose between the two study profiles :

• Data Engineering & Analytics includes the preparation and provision of data as well as the innovation of business models and the optimization of processes
• Artificial Intelligence and Intelligence Engineering deals with the design, development and implementation of knowledge-based and intelligent systems

The Data Science and Artificial Intelligence course is offered in cooperation with the Ravensburg Cooperative State University.

You will spend the practical phases at our location in Markdorf. You decide which areas you would like to get to know in the practical phases as part of your chosen degree program in consultation with your trainer. You will be supported and looked after by experienced colleagues in the various departments. You can also get involved in many projects in the training department and receive further training through training courses.

Perspectives:

The interdisciplinary course in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence prepares you for a diverse range of professional activities in software development or IT consulting, in which future technologies such as Big Data, Predictive Analytics, Internet of Things, Machine and Deep Learning are used.

What we want from you:

• Good completion of the general or subject-specific university entrance qualification or advanced technical college entrance qualification with an average grade of better than 2.5 with a focus on the natural sciences, especially mathematics and computer science
• Enthusiasm for the IT industry and the topics of data science and artificial intelligence
• Good programming skills in at least one modern programming language (e.g. Java, Python, C#)
• Extracurricular commitment as well as social thinking and acting

In addition, you look forward to constantly getting to know new topics and working on them together in a team.

Degree: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Business Informatics (accredited with 210 ECTS points)

Duration: 3 years, starting on September 1st

Compensation:

1st year: EUR 1170,- 2nd year: EUR 1350,- 3rd year: EUR 1470,-
