PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP is currently expanding a consulting team that drives incubation and adoption of SAP machine learning technology services with our customers, helping them to improve their business results based on scientific analysis of large amounts of business data and apply machine learning models and software robots to build the intelligent enterprise.
In this role, the machine learning expert works directly with customer experts to translate our customers’ business needs into solutions based on SAP Cloud architecture offerings. Typical technologies used are ML based classifiers, chatbots, software roboters or a combination of the mentioned technologies.
This position requires the ability to work and communicate in a dynamic, interdisciplinary and intercultural team in an agile and efficient way. 
As a thought leader in Machine Learning you appreciate the possibility for learning and personal development and therefore you keep track of the latest developments and share your knowledge actively with others.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Background in Machine Learning Technologies and concepts
• Interested in applying machine learning with large data sets
• Creating Process Automations with RPA tools and machine learning
• Experience in creating and describing software solution concepts
• Deliver Service Offerings for Machine Learning Components
• Good Communication skills and customer-oriented style

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Required skills

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science 
• Programming Skills, like Java, Python, JavaScript, NodeJS, JupyterNotebook, ABAP
• English in written and spoken language

Preferred skills

• Interested in Machine Learning Programming Frameworks, like TensorFlow, scikit and probably first experience
• Database Knowledge
• Web and Cloud Computing Knowledge
• Knowledgeable in automation tools
• Knowledge and interest in one of the following topics: Process Automation, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision
