What you'll do

  • Learn about our data migration technology and document future business scenarios
  • Analyze data migration solutions offered by SAP and third-party providers
  • Identify trends and derive concrete ideas which can be tested as a Proof of Concepts
  • Present your ideas and findings to internal stakeholders
  • Support the development of the strategic direction of the Data Migration Framework
  • Participate in Agile Release Train events and Scrum rituals, and engage in story point estimation activities and product increment planning (following the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe))
  • Create business user stories based off your findings to prepare new feature development

What you bring

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study: Business Computer Science, Business Administration with IT Focus, or related fields
  • Computer skills: very good PowerPoint and/or Excel skills
  • Language skills: fluent in English, German as a plus
  • Soft skills: ability to work in a multi-national and multi-cultural team, great communication skills, strong systematic analysis skills, eager to learn more about new technology trends, ability to work independently

The Enterprise Data Technology (EDT) team is part of the SAP’s IT Services organization and responsible for providing consultancy and technology expertise in the area of mastering, governing, migrating and integrating data.

In particular data migration has become a key success factor for SAP SE. As many other companies, the SAP IT landscape has also a wide range of cloud and onPremise solutions. The goal of our EDT Data Migration Team is to contribute to the Intelligent Enterprise and integrate e.g., acquired companies with state of the art data migration tools and execution.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
