Job Description

We are seeking advanced Master's or PhD students to join our Software Engineering (SE) and Machine Learning (ML) research teams for 6 months in 2023. Applicants should be open to working fully remote (Arg), or hybrid by attending a Cowork location in CABA and should have full-time availability.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with the design, implementation, and evaluation of novel approaches to challenging SE/ML problems.
• Work independently, under the supervision of our Research team, to develop solutions that will be impactful and meaningful to ASAPP and ASAPP's product.
• Read and discuss relevant research papers and trends in the ML/SE space. 
• Report on the resulting work in top-tier venues.

What you'll need

• Engineering, M.S. or Ph.D. student in computer science, machine learning, statistics, or a related field.
• Desire to solve challenging, open-ended practical problems.
• Advanced programming skills and experience using python/golang/js.
• Enthusiasm for working in a highly collaborative environment.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving ability.
