ABOUT THE TEAM

The mission of the SAP Innovation Center Network (ICN) is to contextualize and pioneer emerging technologies that will be foundational for the future success of SAP and of our customers. We are a diverse, global team and collaborate across roles, functions, and locations, enabling every colleague to contribute and investigate new ideas. We identify and contextualize emerging technologies to define their value for business and society. With around 200 development, business, and design experts worldwide, the ICN is geared up to make an impact. As innovation requires courage, curiosity, and patience, we live up to a culture of trial and continuous learning. This paves our way to success: We create tangible business value with revenue generating solutions for our customers and large-scale adoption of cutting-edge technology at SAP.

THE ROLE

Join the newly founded SAP Innovation Center at SAP Labs Munich at SAP Labs Munich as an Intern / Working Student and be part of a young team that is passionate about new technology and committed to engineering innovative solutions in a startup-like environment. You will have the opportunity to explore and contribute to the next generation of business applications, platforms, and software engineering tools. Your desire to produce quality results and passion in combining engineering excellence with a strong interest for cutting-edge technologies make you an ideal fit for this position.

We are looking for motivated Bachelor/Master/Diploma students in Computer Science or related fields to become part of our global team and to support our work in one of the following focus areas:

• Data Management & Analytics
• Cloud Platforms
• Machine Learning

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Student (f/m/d) - preferred field(s) of study: Computer Sciences, Data Science, or related fields
• Language skills: Fluent in English (mandatory)

Computer skills:

• Applied programming skills in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Scala, R, JavaScript)
• First experiences in one of the above-mentioned focus areas
• Working knowledge of agile development principles and software development tools

Soft skills:

• Reliable and open-minded
• Determined to reach a goal in time, ability to work independently and to prioritize
• Strong team working skills
