SUMMARY
We are looking for a talented Software Developer (f/m/d) with a DevOps mindset to shape the AI/ML foundations of SAP’s cloud platform. With strong focus on cloud-native and best-of-breed open-source tooling, we deliver a scalable, robust MLOps platform, that is operated globally on all major cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, AliCloud). Our platform caters for versatile SAP and partner products, empowering their development teams to deliver AI scenarios with enterprise readiness. 
THE ROLE
As a Software Developer (Associate) (f/m/d) at SAP’s AI platform development team, you will contribute to the design and implementation of Kubernetes components and micro-services for orchestrating for AI/ML workloads. You will be working on integrating cloud hardware-accelerated infrastructure (GPUs, TPUs) for optimized deep learning execution. You will continuously improve the best practices and development process that empower the team. We expect you to contribute to the long-term vision of SAP’s AI platform and to shape its technical execution.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containers
• Strong software engineering skills using Python, Go, Java, or C++
• Experience in APIs and micro-service architectures
• Experience in CI/CD, quality assurance and security 
• Excited about ML and DevOps
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a team player
