We are looking for an
intern/apprentice
methodologist
- biostatistician to join our team.
The position is based at the company's French headquarters located in Rueil-Malmaison (92), and reports to the HEOR Associate Director.
Missions and main activities
In the context of market access and the evaluation of health products, and within the Health Economics and Outcomes Research team, the methodologist - biostatistician trainee will have the mission: - to contribute to the critical analysis
of the methodology used in clinical trials with regard to French and European requirements in terms of market access (HTA);
- to provide expertise on the methodological aspects of studies (design, analysis plan, etc.) carried out using the national health data system (SNDS);
- to conduct a statistical analysis of an observational study using the most appropriate analysis methods;
- to carry out scientific monitoring of statistical approaches in development and new recommendations;
- to be a force for proposals on the integration of innovative statistical approaches into projects (e.g. machine learning, data mining, etc.)
Required Skills
Education: Engineer or scientific background in statistics in final year of Master's degree
Interest in applied research
Mastery of SAS or R software
Have interpersonal skills
To be rigorous
Curiosity of mind
Demonstrate autonomy and initiative
Teaching qualities
Spirit of synthesis and popularization
Ease of communicating
English read, written, spoken
