Key Responsibilities  

• Accountable for the controlled production support and lifecycle management for GPS Laboratory applications.  
• Accountable for delivery of committed business outcomes of digital capabilities implemented within the respective area.  
• Work with a dynamic team to oversee the design and implementation of custom /cots applications.  
• Collaborate directly with the business clients, IT Business Partners, and other IT functions on delivery of digital capabilities.  

• Monitor IT service provider resource consumption, review demand and change requests for support work related to COTS/custom applications.  

Qualifications & Experience:  

• BS/ MS in information technology, science, engineering or with equivalent experience in a scientific or engineering discipline is preferred.  
• 10+ years’ experience in IT with demonstrated success in delivering and supporting SaaS, COTS, custom-built solutions and managing/partnering with software vendors and service providers.  

• Must have knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and of computer systems validation (CSV)  
• Experience working in large and/or complex IT programs, preferably within the pharmaceutical development and quality control domains.  
• Must have experience in pharmaceutical industry and an understanding of the drug development and scientific chemistry and biology laboratory quality control process.  
• Knowledgeable in enterprise level laboratory systems, and quality management concepts that are used in Bio Pharma industry laboratory settings.  
• Demonstrated ability to use structured problem solving and available tools to quickly evaluate problems, identify root causes, create action plans, assess impact and develop resolution options  

• Ability to apply technical solutions to business processes.  
• Deep analytical skills and logical thinking to identify and resolve technical issues.  
• Knowledge of cGxP and 21CFR Part11 standards.  
• Knowledge of GxP laboratory instrumentation. 
• Experience using IT Service Management tool such as ServiceNow.  

• Experience imaging, deploying, and supporting regulated lab benchtop PCs with Laboratory instrument drivers and applications.  
• Experience working with offshore application users and technical support teams.  
• Knowledge of Data Integrity concerns for GxP applications in a regulated environment. 
• Ability to edit and execute test scripts using automated testing tool such as ALM.   

Ideal Candidates Would Also Have:  

• Extensive knowledgeable and support experience with an enterprise level file Sync Software system such as Goodsync or Syncovery. 
• Experience managing installing SoftMax-Pro 
• Knowledge of Unicorn Protein Purification Software and SQL Database from Cytiva. 

• Experience managing Software Licenses and Maintenance Contracts. 
• Support experience with data archival utility NuGenesis SDMS 
• Knowledge of chromatography data systems (ex. Empower) 
• Familiarity with firewall rules in laboratory and manufacturing environments. 
• Knowledge of Chromatography instruments, HPLC and GC instrumentation, peak separation and integration and software drivers/ICS to control instruments in Empower. 

• Experience as a .Net Developer 
• Experience coding Database queries in SQL Language
