Purpose of the role and the team

Team: This team will focus on integrating and supporting applications/tools for Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics, using PAAS/SAAS platforms such as Integral, PK Assist, Phoenix, and other CP&P Data science tools and applications.

Role: Operational Support Engineer responsible for Data Science product suite support within the Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics (CP&P) product team. The data science product suite supports scientists who work on various pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) modeling methods. Here, you will make an impact by supporting the software solutions used by the Pharmacometrics scientists.

• Will be working as a part of the support team responsible for the overall operational support of the various tools/applications used within the Data Science team.
• Will help detect, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in the environment, and provide technical support to end-users
• Will work with cross-functional IT teams and external vendors.

Requirement Qualification:

A Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field is required Strong troubleshooting skills with 3-5 years of experience in supporting statistical analysis and PK/PD modeling and simulation tools for the Pharmacometrics scientific community. 2-3 years of experience with AWS DevOps, PHP, node.js, and deploying applications in serverless architecture. Expertise in Java, Python, R / R Studio / R Shiny, Python, SAS Must have 2-3 years of experience with AWS devops, including Parallel Cluster Familiarity with Shell Scripting, Python, SAS and Subversion (SVN) Expertise in scientific data management. FAIR data, CDISC and other related formats desired but not required Nice to have familiarity with PK NCA tools such as Integral, Phoenix, PK Assist, WinNonLin, NLME. Working knowledge of R / R Studio / R Shiny and R package management 2-3 years of experience working with validated systems and scientific applications Experience with various IT and PM tools – JIRA, RTC etc. Strong documentation, and presentation skills
