Job Description

Purpose of the role and the team Team: This team will focus on developing, implementing, enhancing, and supporting commercial, open source and in-house tools that are used by Scientists in Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics (CP&P) Role: Software Engineer responsible for the Data Science (DS) product suite development within the CP&P product team.
DS product suite supports scientists who work on the various data science related applications that provide analysis ready Pharmacokinetics (PK) data sets and data specifications for the downstream pharmacometrics team. Here, you will make an impact by developing software solutions by understanding information needs of the scientists who perform Pharmacometrics modeling and simulation.
- Will be working as a part of the development team responsible for the overall technical deliverables developing, implementing, enhancing and supporting commercial, open source and in-house tools in data science and pharmacometrics within CP&P.
- Will work with cross-functional IT teams and external vendors. Capabilities, Experience & Qualification Requirements
- A Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field is required
- Strong software development skills with 3-5 years of experience in developing clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics applications and tools is required
- Must have experience with AWS DevOps, PHP, node.js, developing and deploying applications in serverless architecture. Expertise in Java, Python, R / R Studio / R Shiny, Python, SAS
- Expertise in scientific data management. FAIR data, CDISC and other related formats desired but not required
- Nice to have familiarity with PK NCA tools such as Integral, Phoenix, PK Assist, WinNonLin, NLME.
- Demonstrated Experience in Agile software development and Agile SDLC
- Familiarity with validated scientific applications
- Strong documentation, and presentation skills
