Your responsibilities also include identifying opportunities to foster colleague engagement and loyalty by delivering clear, consistent analysis and insights. As a strategic thinker, you’ll be required to translate business requirements into meaningful analysis and insights, partnering with colleagues to create dashboards and/or reports to support colleague initiatives and strategies. Effective communication of these insights to senior leaders, both verbally and in writing, is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with cross functional team members to identify and understanding evolving business and partner needs
  • Engage in strategic planning and Translate business needs into technical and reporting or dashboard and automation solutions, develop roadmap to share with senior leaders and drive implementation by partnering across data scientists, data analysts, tech, and other business-facing partners.
  • Lead analysts to Optimize and maintain OAC & Tableau Dashboards.
  • Work with Tech partner to “productionable” Dashboards, and lead analysts to conduct UAT, User stories –system upgrades, changes to dashboard calculations, etc.
  • Assess feasibility and recommend ways to automate key strategic Executive reports.
  • Build and maintain data models, requirements, OAC Updates (e.g.Sefl ID)
  • Maintain any new dashboards (e.g. Amex Flex).
  • Liaise with US -based leader and work with cross-functional team in US and India.
  • Prioritize tasks and strategically allocate resources

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a data scientist or related role in a complex organization
  • Demonstrated experience in optimizing and maintaining dashboards, specifically Tableau and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
  • Proven experience in automating strategic reports and working with a tech partner to productionalize dashboards.
  • Experience in strategic planning and translating business needs into technical and reporting solutions.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
  • Experience with data modeling and understanding of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.
  • Familiarity with dashboard development, optimization, and maintenance.
  • Understanding of Enterprise Data Platforms (EDP).

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Storytelling/roadmap development for senior leaders
  • Ability to translate technical information to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
  • Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and writing user stories.

Project Management:

  • Strong prioritization and capacity planning skills.
  • Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams, including offshore teams.

Adaptability:

  • Flexibility in working hours to overlap with US time zones.
  • Ability to adapt to system upgrades and changes to dashboard calculations.

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
