Functional Description:

This Manager/Senior Manager team works to improve marketing effectiveness of programs run by GCS International Marketing team through accurate measurement and strategic analysis of the marketing programs. The team is also responsible for driving critical reports and dashboards for senior leadership in International Marketing. The successful candidate will need to collaborate with many functional partners in Strategy, Marketing, Risk, Finance and Capabilities to provide holistic data driven solutions for marketing.

Purpose of the Role:

Measure Marketing programs, enable ROI analysis, prepare executive dashboards for SLT and enable the business by delivering strategic insights

Responsibilities -

The roles and responsibilities of the position would include but not be limited to:

  • Support and enable the business partners with campaign measurements and actionable data driven insights
  • Drive automation and refinement of ongoing measurement framework
  • Develop analytical solutions for marketing teams by gathering business requirements from stakeholders, performing data analysis, presenting results
  • Accurate, timely and efficient delivery of monthly results reporting for marketing leadership
  • Keen on exploration and analysis of data from various data sources, translate the same to excellent visual case studies
  • Quick learner quick to understand the business and support pilot projects amidst ambiguity
  • Collaborate with functional leaders, business partners and senior leaders to assess business needs, evaluate project feasibility, ensure data integrity, and provide actionable recommendations in times of constant change
  • Build a solid relationship/partnership with Marketing Stakeholders, drive projects end to end with full accountability and growth mindset
  • Partner with other teams across the company to standardize measurement methodologies
  • Lead a team of 5+ analysts

Academic Qualifications

Master’s degree (or equivalent work experience with a bachelor’s degree) in quantitative field such as Economics, Statistics, Engineering or MBA with analytical experience

Required Experience:
5+ years of technical experience in relevant domain.

Technical Experience

  • Passion for data science. Proven track record of independently developing novel analytical solutions optimizing business processes or product constructs.
  • Outstanding knowledge of Hive, Python, PySpark, SQL encompassing data manipulation and statistical modeling and data-mining techniques
