Functional Description:

This position is in the Global Commercial & Merchant Marketing Decision Science Team supporting the Global Commercial Services (GCS) business. The role is responsible for developing data & decision science solutions for marketing use cases through best-in-class algorithms and deep business understanding. As a leader of a highly skilled team of technical and data experts, the role will be responsible for optimizing two critical commercial products – B2B merchant recommender and Size of Wallet / Share of wallet estimate across both card and non-card & Kabbage products. The position is part of a highly collaborative environment, interacting with and influencing partners across Global Commercial Services and Global Decision Science Teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, Deploy and track next generation of B2B recommender models for Global Commercial portfolio
• Enhance the existing data sciences on estimating the total wallet size for our existing commercial customers
• Exploring & incorporating new internal & external data sources for further improving the discrimination of all analytical solution managed by the team
• Collaborating with partners across the globe to deploy and track each of the solutions
• 7+ years of experience in similar decision science and analytics role with financial and related industry with at least 5+ years in leading a team is preferred
• Post graduate degree in statistics, decision science, economics, econometrics or closely related fields or MBA with quantitative focus preferred
• Ability and willingness to work in a less structured environment to identify opportunities, handle multiple assignments and create focus for the team
• Understanding of available commercial data sources for markets

• Strong analytical skills including the ability to think through all aspects of complex business requirements and generate possible course of action
• Ability to influence, collaborate and partner with multiple stakeholders with focus on delivering results
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to interact with and present to senior leaders in the organization
• Technical Skills Proficiency & experience in econometric, statistics and machine learning techniques to develop best in class data science solutions
• Demonstrated ability to apply cutting edge statistical techniques to solve business problems
• Good working knowledge of data mining techniques and open source machine Learning algorithms
