American Express Company seeks Directors, Data Science and Analytics, Customer Marketing to drive personalized customer experiences and maximize profitability through provision of best-in-class analytics and data science by directing a team of analytical professionals. Work on customer valuation forecasting, targeting, and oversight of customer acquisition campaigns. Collaborate with the Global Servicing Group to manage targeting strategy of revenue-generating treatments in phone channel through routing, talking points, and channel optimization. Partner with marketing, business development, and modelling team to scale new treatments, offers, and channels for the business through advanced and innovative targeting strategies. Adapt traditional targeting methodologies for recent innovations in marketing, including bundling and sequencing strategies while continuing to build foundational targeting capabilities. Develop cross-functional relationships with internal marketing partners.
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with leveraging analytics and data science to drive business results. Position also requires 3 years of experience with each of the following: working across multi-functional teams and influencing and creating meaningful relationships with partners; analyzing consumer data and end-to-end campaign processes; using test design to inform business strategy based on statistical findings; querying extremely large and complex datasets using big data programming languages, including SAS, SQL, Hive, Python, advanced MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint; analytical and problem-solving experience, with experience breaking-down a complex problem into components and translating quantitative analysis to actionable business outcomes; and influencing and crafting analytical stories for senior audiences. Telecommuting is available up to 3 days per week.

Salary Range: $134,110.00 - $205,000.00 annually
