Responsibilities:

• Design AI interfaces and interactions or other complex experiences that have LLMs as a core capability
• Work with Design leadership to ensure a cohesive and focused vision for the product portfolio
• Collaborate well with design systems teams, engineers, and multiple product management teams in uniting multiple AI related projects into a cohesive portfolio and end-to-end experience for our customers
• Take a hands-on approach in creating prototypes, diagrams, and production ready design work to support this effort
• Drive creative development and execution of product design work
• Develop effective design approaches for surfacing user needs, exploring potential solutions, delivering practical design deliverables, and synthesizing design work into systems of reusable components

Requirements:

• 10+ years of professional experience in product design with experience as an IC design leader in working across large cross-domain and cross-functional projects that define an end-to-end customer experience
• Experience using design thinking and methodology to drive consensus and collaboration across a large organization
• Ability to create compelling narratives while articulating opportunities/problems/solutions within AI product design
• Outstanding portfolio that demonstrates a broad range of design and product strategy across web-based applications, consumer experiences, and mobile products
• Experience driving product design for end-to-end programs and strong understanding of user-centered design processes in agile, cross-functional teams
• Ability to synthesize industry trends, internal and third-party research, team insights, business priorities, and partner feedback into actionable UX strategy and design execution

Preferred Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience designing AI interfaces and interactions or other complex experiences that have Large Language Models (LLMs) as a core capability
• Experience organizing and leading design sprints

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York City is expected in the range below.

$168,400 - $262,900

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
