We are looking for Machine Learning Engineers with a diverse set of backgrounds to join us.
The eBay monitoring system is processing PB log/day and Million metrics/second nowadays. We aim to improve monitoring of next generation autonomous site operations with machine learning technologies. We focus on using anomaly detection, error prediction, root cause analysis to provide insights and guidance to the auto-remediation system. This is an excellent place for an AI engineer, you would be able to work with a dedicated team to apply the machine learning algorithm on mass of monitoring data.
Responsibilities
- Work on the cutting edge applied research of Anomaly detection and root cause analysis; Evaluate & Investigate on apply new algorithms, define the algorithm measures
- Build anomaly detection for multi-pattern site monitoring metrics (seasonal, spike, sparse, multivariate)
- Develop root cause analysis algorithm to find the insights in tens of thousands of time series metrics
- Build prediction model to detect disk failure, incident happening
Requirements
- Ph.D. or master degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics or related field
- Experience in AI-Ops is big plus
- Proficient in at least one of the following languages: Python and Java.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Publication record in top AI conferences/journals is a big plus
- Good communication and collaboration with engineer background team member
