Job Description

The role will be to build relationships of trust with the BU Digital & Technology leads, be a crucial member of the US Digital & Technology Leadership team and be able to influence and help inform decisions in our global organization into future facing capabilities that drive the business forward. A perfect candidate is seen to being critical to the annual business operations plans.

The role will have deep knowledge and experience of industry technologies, practices and frameworks e.g.

  • Multi-Channel and Omni Channel technology capabilities
  • Data insights & exploring new data capabilities
  • Veeva CRM
  • Marketing Cloud, AEM, Tealium & Azure data platforms
  • Agile ways of working and ability to influence others to work agile.
  • Experience in advanced analytics and advanced segmentation modeling
  • Innovative experience penetrating challenging problems within healthcare.
  • Strong metrics driven leadership with business growth as key focus
  • Experienced in leading culture change & being a culture champion

In addition, the individual must be/are knowledgeable in US Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership & innovation in digital, data, analytics & manages relationships with vendors and partners.
  • Supports engineering of Marketing Automation products (email campaigns, websites personalisation, audience segmentation, analytics and decision engines) through technical solution design, implementation & continuous improvement processes.
  • Ensures that technical delivery is fully compliant with GSK Security, Quality and Regulatory standards.
  • Ensures use of relevant commercial tech / central services and collaborating with service partners in identification and delivery of service improvements.
  • Supports Product Owners and product teams to deliver value continuously, fostering and maintaining close links with customers, related Solution groups.
  • Pro-actively engages in experimentation and innovation to drive continuous improvement with brand goals.
  • Provides leadership and GSK expertise to product Scrum Teams composed of GSK FTEs, strategic partners and software vendors.
  • Contributes to release planning and roadmaps working closely with Product Owners.
  • Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
  • Cross team delivery: Mastery of complex facilitation and dependency management techniques (cross team, cross department).

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 12+ years of professional experience
  • Experience in Marketing Automation, Analytics, CDP, Cookies, Tags
  • Experience in content personalization and A/B testing
  • Experience in delivering business impact through process and Tech enabled solutions
  • Experience of vendor management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (MBA)
  • Areas of Specialization: Marketing Automation, (email campaigns, websites personalisation, audiences segmentation, analytics and decision engines), Agile development methodology, Value Delivery, Project Management, Digital Marketing Technologies, Digital analytics, DevOps, Healthcare or Pharma experience, Relationships and working experience with tech partners (Google, Apple, MSFT, Salesforce), Tangible results with programs that improved brand sales, Experience in AI/ML and automated segmentation and just in time delivery experience, Advanced analytics capabilities and experience automating those capabilities
  • Experience in solution design, programme and product delivery and service management
  • Excellent relationship management, strong influencing, and communication skills
  • Content knowledge of respective functional area helpful (business operating models, processes & products)
