Pharma Supply Chain (PSC) Tech is at the heart of GSK’s PSC network which comprises over 30 manufacturing sites in 18 countries, with around 16,000 employees. The PSC Tech Manufacturing Performance Product team are accountable for making it easier for the Pharma Supply Chain to measure, understand and improve the performance of our manufacturing processes by delivering value from our technology platforms through utilizing and exploiting functionality and enabling the business to access and visualize its data in the right way in order to identify areas to drive continuous improvement.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following.

  • Partner with the Product Manager(s) to develop, test, deploy & maintain technology, and solutions
  • Operate in an Agile Product Model using DevOps principles.
  • Be responsible for the day-to-day operations which includes but is not limited to:
  • Business process to system mapping and user requirements capture
  • Application and technology design & implementation e.g. automation and testing tools
  • UX Design & application of Design Thinking methods
  • Information/data flow design & implementation
  • Application integration selection/design & implementation
  • IT service to support end-to-end business processes Development, maintenance and management of products and solutions, including the identification of gaps, risks and mitigation approaches
  • Ensure solutions align to agreed product roadmap and feature requirements
  • Engage with key stakeholders and end users to provide best possible User Experience (UX) and ensure business outcomes are achieved.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with Power BI - Experienced in all aspects of Power BI, including establishing gateways, use of embedding, DAX, Power BI performance Tuning and M Query - Should have strong SQL skills, preferably over SQL Server
  • Should be an expert in Power BI Visualization / Analytics. Working knowledge of advanced Excel, Access, VBA.
  • Good understanding of dashboards and scorecards to present to leadership is a must
  • Ability to articulate the value and generate insights with the business
  • Graduate level education in a technical, engineering or IT discipline.
  • Experience of modeling, presenting data or developing visuals to drive understanding and improvements through data insights and BI technology and enthusiasm to upskill on new technology areas in the field of data analytics and data visualization
  • Experience of working in a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders in multiple locations
  • Expertise in writing stored procedures and functions.
  • Experience in handling large-scale databases and real-time data acquisition
  • Experience creating and maintaining data pipelines to extract, transform and load data from various data sources
  • Experience and ability to contribute to an end-to-end Architecture and Solution overview using Microsoft Azure tools
  • At least one Full Life Cycle implementation using MS Azure toolset (e.g. utilizing tools such as SQL Server on Azure, Azure Synapse Analytics/SQL DW, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and PaaS)
  • Experience with Snowflake cloud data warehouse
  • Experience with Azure Stream / Stream Analytics
  • Good relationship building, team working and influencing skills
  • Self-motivated, pragmatic, resourceful and acts without waiting to be told what to do

Preferred qualifications:

  • At least 1-2 large scale enterprise level Power-BI Implementation
  • Microsoft Certifications in PowerBI will be advantageous
  • Building up Strong COE Approach
  • Integration with R, Python will be an added advantage
  • Solid grasp of tool functions, limitations and hidden features
  • Certified Power-BI developer. Migration and Upgrade experience. Power BI Cluster Management and Performance tuning is added advantage.
  • Experience with Azure Data bricks as a data source for Power BI is preferable
  • Strong knowledge of relational database concepts and structures and advanced SQL and / or Python skills.
