Job Description

You will provide Earth observation work flows for sectors in asset monitoring, energy and renewables, hazard monitoring and forecasting. In this role you will create solutions that use satellite data to deliver insights using remote sensing capabilities. This is your chance to reshape industries and lead the way in Earth observation workflows. You will be a key player in deriving insights from remote sensing satellite data (optical, radar thermal, lidar) to identify ways to service clients and new opportunities. Your expertise guides project teams, providing invaluable Geospatial/Earth Observation advice. As our Python wizard, you will craft high-quality scripts that breathe life into Earth Observation workflows and analytics visualizations. Your role extends to identifying, developing, and implementing groundbreaking remote sensing and GIS applications that redefine the business landscape.

How you strengthen our team

  • Master’s degree (MSc) with relevant experience (can include internships/thesis) within directly related Geospatial Science/ Data science/ Earth observation with Big Data faculties;
  • Skilled in Machine Learning and computer vision applications in Satellite data;
  • Proven experience in Geospatial Data Management and Analysis;
  • Mapping & cartographic experience;
  • Ability to understand and communicate with customers and align services to customer needs;
  • Identification and implementation of new technologies, techniques and practices in the EO sector;
  • Excellent collaboration skills, sharing knowledge and experiences widely, adopting ideas of others, keeping abreast of new developments, recognizing technology gaps, knowing what competitors are doing;
  • Proactive, with a mindset to continuously improve and learn;
  • Experience in the use of GIS software (Esri, Safe FME & Python).

Please note that holding an EU passport is mandatory for obtaining an EU Personal Security Clearance at the CONFIDENTIAL level, which is a part of our selection process.
