Job Description

Discover where complex meets meaningfulness as a Data Scientist in our space defence and intelligence business unit. You will be part of a client facing team that combines subject matter and technical expertise with business understanding, providing our clients with the insights to build next generation IT services and operating models. The role requires an adaptable individual who is able to work alongside clients, partners and other CGI members in a variety of technologies. You will need to work within an Agile framework at all stages of the requirements lifecycle, definition and prototyping through to the implementation of full solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Experience as a Data Scientist, demonstrating an excellent understanding of standard data scientists responsibilities such as machine learning techniques, algorithms, statistics, visualisation etc.
  • Experience with common data science toolkits and core skills in one of Python, NumPy, MatLab, Tensorflow, keras, etc.
  • Knowledge of distributed storage, processing frameworks and visualisation tools.
  • Working alongside customers within cloud environments to define and deliver requirements either as a prototype, Minimum viable product or final product delivery.
