Job Description

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Lead and manage development team of data scientists, software developers, devops and testers to adhere to product release timelines and budget.
• Be the primary point of contact for development escalations, setting best practices for code review and development and responsible for execution of the technical plans set forth by the platform architect
• Have a detailed understanding of the products underlying core platform and services and be able to ramp up on the technology stacks rapidly.
• Serve as an expert in translating complex data into key strategy insights and valuable actions.
• Discover business narratives told by the data and present them to other scientists, business stakeholders, and managers at various levels.
• Develop and test heuristics.
• Create and run statistic/ML models.
• Perform data exploration and data mining.
• Will be a key point of contact for application development and cloud deployment team and work closely with them for product deployment and migrations to the cloud (Azure ecosystem).

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 7+ years in designing and developing AI solutions, including machine learning models, data science & natural language processing.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, ML, R,or Java, and experience with AI/ML libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Previous experience in a technical leadership role, with the ability to mentor and guide a team effectively.
• In-depth understanding of AI techniques, programming, predictive Modeling, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data visualization for AI applications.
• Knowledge of big data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

• Doctorate in Computer science, Engineering, Physics or Statistics

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $85,000-$223,200.
