Position description

This project requires 2-3 Data Engineers to support and execute the migration of data from a series of legacy systems to updated systems, including EMR, for a major provider network in the healthcare space. MS SQL skills would be the most valuable. The candidate should be comfortable with any of the standard MS tools.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Data extracts and transferring data. Another team is responsible for loading the data.
• Technical expertise in the data migrations; processes, common gaps resulting in issues, etc.
• Ensures that data meets or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements
• Work to address project requirements and articulate issues/challenges to reduce project delivery risks.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 4-8 years of development and migration experience in data technologies, ideally in healthcare.
• 4-8 years experienced in MS SQL databases.
• Understands best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system.
• A plus to be able to propose data strategies and developing physical data models for future work.
