Job Description

The B2B Customer Growth Marketing team within Dell Field & Partner Marketing is on a mission to transform marketing through the adoption of customer-centric solutions driven by Generative AI, machine-learning, Big Data, and world-class engineering. Working very tightly with Field Marketing and Sales stakeholders, we enable for the right message to get to the right customer at the right time through their omni-channel journey at massive scale. 

Essential Responsibilities

As a Principal Machine Learning Engineer on a growing team, you will bring in your industry experience to drive software architecture and enterprise computeto support the development and productionization of machine-learning models at both technical and business scale. You will collaborate with our Data Science, MLOps, Data Engineering, and IT teams to help drive the technical roadmap and ensure world-class practices. You will also support and mentor more junior engineers. 

MinimumQualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
• 8+ yearsof related professional software-engineering or ML-engineering experience in enterprise-level environments using agile methodology and version control
• 6+ years’ experience with microservices software architecture and APIs
• 6+ years leading the end-to-end design and development of scalable services, including monitoring and production support
• Proficient in Python programming language

• Experience building scaled solutions with private cloud or on-premiseIT infrastructure using open-source frameworks
• Experience in DevOps practices, testing frameworks, and CI/CD
• Self-directed with the ability to use new methods and frameworks to solve customer problems
• Demonstrable stakeholder-facing skills and a good command of the English language
• Ability to work in a highly-collaborative, highly matrixed organization and adapt to changing company priorities

• A passion to develop great customer experiences at scale

PreferredQualifications:

• Experience working with container-based technologies, such as Kubernetes
• Experience with machine-learning frameworks and libraries (i.e.scikit-learn, LangChain)

• Experience in an object-oriented programming language (i.e.Java or C++)
• Experience withGPUs for ML training and inferencing
• Exposure to embeddings and vector databases
